Counselling for Young Adults
There is so much that life might be throwing at you when you're around the ages of 18-25. Do you find yourself struggling with anxiety, panic, or overwhelm? Are you feeling really low, un-motivated, numb, or depressed? You may be a college or university student struggling the academics, social issues, isolation, trouble sleeping, etc. Perhaps you've suffered a significant loss such as a death of a parent or grandparent, the divorce or separation of your parents, a break-up? Maybe you just aren't doing so well and you don't fully understand why or how to feel better.

We are here to help. We can provide in-person or virtual appointments. At our office in Manotick, feel free to bring in food or drink (nut free please), use our fidgets, and make yourself comfortable. We take things at your pace.

We are primarily trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), which are evidence-based therapy modalities to help teach you skills and move you toward feeling better.
We also are trauma-focused, having engaged in various other trainings such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic-based therapy, Expressive-arts based therapy for Trauma, Trauma-focused CBT, and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
